The .270 Win club, are you in?

Browning x-bolt hunter in .270, topped with a Nikon pro staff 5 2.5-10x40 scope. Love it, and have dropped a few deer with it. It shoulders so well and just fits so well.

I have serial #5 Winchester model 54 in .270win made in 1925 making it one of, if not THE, oldest .270 Winchester around. The caliber was introduced with this gun and it's one of the first off the line.

I have had a 270 win for a lot of years(37) and it was my go to deer rifle,I have had a parker hale,browning bar,weatherby vanguard,rem 770 and a rem 700.
I caught the 6.5 bug a few years back and turned the rem 700 into a 6.5 - 06 for long range target and now I have no 270ies.
Got reading on the high bc 170-180 gr .277 bullets awhile back and I am going back to it on my next build but going with a 1-8 twist heavy 30" tube on it.

My old Parker Hale Super Safari .270 Win in a RamLine stock.

WOW!!! Are you friggen kidding me?!?!

How the heck did you come across that rifle?

Blows my mind. Thanks for sharing!

The three .270's I have now, a Rem 760, a Super Grade Mod 70 and a Saskatchewan crafted left hand twist Springfield. Lousy picture!

Better pic's of my favorite one.

I'm in. A Savage 111. My young lad is also. Last fall he bought him self a TC Venture and put a Leupold Rifleman 3-9x40 on it. After bore sighting it at 20 yards the 3rd 3 round group through it was 1.05"
