They do indeed need a side-mount. I know they carry the mounts there as well, as we just bought one from them.
OK, I just came back from shooting the Husky 35 and . . . it doesn't like long bullets. Yup, it's true, it won't handle long spitzers. I guess I should have guessed that, but I figured it was worth a try. I tried 3 different brands of 180's, and one kind of 180 cast, but they all key-holed at 100 yards. I don't think the cast were too long, but they were plain-base and going very slowly, I believe too slowly for the twist rate. I'm guessing that either the gun was made for the standard 170 grain flatpoints, or it was made for 125's for those cute little roe deer and whatnot they have over there. I also wasted far too much ammo chasing the dovetailed sights around, going too far one way, then too far back the other way - grrrr! Anyway, everything on the gun itself worked flawlessly, I really love the trigger, and the balance on this little 6.5 lb. gun is so nice to hold! The targets weren't worth posting, due to the keyholing, and I was so mad I threw them away. If I can find some 125's around, I may give them a try, or a little factory 170 FP's, we'll see.
