The 30-30 club, are you in?

5 for me!
2- M-94's.....one is a mid 60's vintage and the other a Sioux Commemorative (Shooter grade)
2- Savage 340A's
1- Schmidt-Ruben '89

I shoot the Savages mostly because the're scoped. I like to play with cast boolits and shoot the 31141 almost exclusively along with paper patched boolits cast from a "Boomer's" mould.
I love "Classic" single shot rifles so, a #1 Ruger in 30-30 is on my gotta have list.

Had a old 336 for some years but a young fella his family being short on cash needed a gun.
Couple a years later a 1902 m94 dropped in for a visit and never left. Going shooting and ya just cant take one, 30-30 the go to second gun.

My second rifle I ever owned was a Winchester model 94 .30-.30. Was given to me by my dad who bought it new from sears for $179 back in the 70's (that's what he saids anyway haha). I love that rifle it's on my "never sell" list for sure!

I owned a Savage 340b and an old beater '94, sold both many years ago, for nostalgia sake I'd like to pick up a model 219 (?) only because my Dad said he had one back in the forties, but had to sell it. It was a plain jane single shot, hopefully one day I'll be able to afford one :)

Tb

I've got a 219 in 30/30 . It's nothing fancy , but it'll keep 3 shots inside of an inch and a half at one hundred yards ( scoped ) . It's light , accurate and points like a shotgun , a great little rifle . And before you ask , it' not for sale . They do come up for sale fairly regularly though .

I have a model 35 savage pump action in 30 30 as well as a model 94 Winchester built in 1974.
I used to hunt with a model 1893 marlin lever in 32 win special.

My dad's got a Win 94. I'm much more a modern-military-rifle kinda guy, but much to my surprise I liked his lever gun so much that I picked myself up a Marlin in 30-30 a couple years ago. Haven't used it much, but I enjoy it when I do.

I have 2 - Marlin 336 30-30s. One is the Carbine, the other is a 336A [24" barrel]
Had the 336A out yesterday....shot 3 consecutive groups under 1" at 100 yards.
WW cases, 160 FTX, Federal 210, 36 grains of Leverevolution. D.

I’ve been contimplating getting a marlin 336 for the bush. But after reading all these things about the “remlins” I’m worried about spending the money on a new one.

What are your thoughts on them? How bad is it really

I sold my Mossberge 464's a while back, marine coat and spx tactical. I couldn't stay out of the 30-30 game though because I love the round, and lets face it, I still had components and loaded ammo hanging around. So, I picked up a 336BL, hand selected to avoid QC issues, stock photo:
