I am the proud owner of a Marlin 30-30. Love the gun. Probably never sell it.

Kind of a funny story. Marlin found a crate of old (built in 1984) 30-30s in a warehouse. They had been sitting there for a couple of decades. They didn’t meet the safety standards when they were found, so they shipped the whole crate to Canada. I was fortunate to buy one brand new, still in the packing grease. I love it. Such a great rifle.

I got a 94 in 357 mag from that batch.

Canadian Centennial carbine (matching rifle was stolen), Savage 219 (w/12ga. barrel as well), mid-50' 94, as well as a newly acquired Savage 24 30-30/20ga, and three .32WS 94's. Oh yeah, a Savage 99 TD 30-30, 1920 year.

Just got this one its a model 1903 chambered in 30-30,serial#dates to 1901.Its been sitting for quite some time and dosent look to have been used for even longer.
It appeares to have never taken down and cleaned ontil now. Going to be interesting to see whats under there ,cant wait to see what a 118 years of crud will look like.

Had at one time a Belgian hammer Cape gun, 12ga and 30-30.
Long gone.
Now only my home made Farquharson single shot, Douglas sporter barrel, works well.

Had an all numbers matching 30-30 1899 Savage dating to 1910 given to me by an uncle this past summer. He originally got it from one of my dad's uncles (one of his mom's brothers). After giving it a thorough cleaning and a minor facelift, but leaving its character pretty much intact, I passed it along to one of my sons along with some details of its history.
A trip to the range showed it still shoots at least as well as I can, using the open sights and my 70+ year old eyes. I'm hoping it stays in the family for some time into the future.
I still have a couple 1950s 94 Winchesters, one in 30-30. and one in .32 Sp. that I plan keep for a bit yet, both very clean and both good shooters ... though neither gets out too often these days.

1957 marlin 336A Monty Carlo butt stock 24” bbl half mag . Very accurate rifle hand load for so it is very versatile. 100 gr Hornady short jackets for beaver and Varmint and 160 gr Hornady ftx for all big game
