The .300 Debate

Ahh. Thats too bad, sounds like a flubber rifle. Who built it? And what barrel? (pm if you ain't into publicly causing a s**t storm).[/QUOTE]

No problem there, the rifles shoots fine, it's a factory 24" stainless 700 Rem from 25 years ago when Rem made some 300 Wbys. It shoots fine with IMR 7828, H1000 and RL 25 with 200 ABs but the magnum doesn't group as well. This rifle has the Wby throat so bullets are way out...COAL 3.95 which is as far as I can seat them out even after extending the bolt throw and lengthening the magazine and action well.

Hey there Rem338win I tried it again today at the range and got the same results....Magnum blew the 200 ABs all over the paper (>4") for 5 loads and RL 25 shot 2 sub 1" groups at the same velocity, same coal, same bullet, same cases and same primer.
Just thought I would try it again as I couldn't find my Magnum/200 AB data.
