The AK- SKS kit ( little update post 440 2015-03-19)( less ABS more wood and metal)

still waiting for the wood stock i hope it gonna show up very soon , im still finalizing the stamped receiver and a couple of parts , im just waiting to get the stock to proceed to the next step getting some quotes , and a real one in metal and wood ,

im still having limited time to work on that due to my job soo be patient guys

for the fan of my first design the ar15 look when i get some time i will try to print my parts
 
Looks awesome by your model... Are you going to 3D print this? If so is that legal in Canada? Or just illegal to print the receiver?

Hes not printing gun parts hes printing a stock for his sks to sit in. Nothing illegal about it unless its designed to bump fire.

Solerner made it. To get one of your own, get a 2 yr machinist course, then get a workshop, then get a Bridgeport milling machine, put it in the shop, then get some solid blocks of metal, some end mills, then take away all the bits that don't look like an ak / chassis stock for your SKS. I thought H Wally built the fal / sks.

a quick picture of what might be the metal version still have to tweak the mag release and some little detail . i decied to remove the fake selector switch of the ak , if someone want it it can always be added

I hope everything goes well with this project of yours, because I will definitely order one at the very least if it functions well. I've been checking this thread regularly for updates. Keep up the good work!
