The Anschutz,Cooper,Sako,Walther,Krico,Weihrauch...You get the idea, picture thread!

I forgot this had it's own thread.....and I had already posted some pics in the regular old rimfire pics thread, but I'll copy them here anyways.

Here's my latest expense, my 1727F:

This is possibly the smoothest action in the most comfortable (to me anyways) firearm that I've ever owned or handled yet.

well here i go- I finally persuaded a friend to part with his Anschutz- CIL 190. it was starting to decline from sitting!! It doesn't look fancy but shoots well.
I cleaned it up and have used it for maybe 1200 rounds.

I see the Canadaammo NS522 is being offloaded at $199. I am new to the .22 bolt action. I have been doing some research and found that the stock was indeed designed for another weapon. My question is; Is it better to fix up the stock that it comes with, ie, pillar beds, barrel bedding, trigger tuning (has to be done anyways), fixing the overall mess causing by the machining for a different rifle.

I have heard various suggestions about using blanks from places like Boyd's (although I did not find them helpful at all). I don't know what comes in a blank or what is involved in bringing it to completion. Perhaps my best bet is just to start with the provided stock, strip it and tune it from there. I would appreciate as many suggestions as I can get. I have seen a thread or two about bedding and pillaring but I am quite interested in the new stock option. Any compatible stocks would be very interesting.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions

Norinco is like a tomato stake, compared to the high end rifles that this thread was created to showcase. As such you should start your own thread to discuss Norinco.

That is a disgrace to tomatoes. Its the mud on a dead comes boots. The rifles in this thread are top notch. They have a lot of class. Something norinco will never have.

Sako Quad Range

DIP Rail came in. Mounted up a Nightforce F1 in ATRS rings and added an Atlas bipod. Pretty sweet setup for Gophers in the spring.
