Yes, 'tis a shame that those cheap 'lil NS522s shoot as well as those expensive European guns for a lot less money. Class, admittedly, they do not have, but accuracy...well, accuracy and snobbery are two different things.

So just how many high level matches do you know of that have been won with Norinco rifles?

I don't recall any Norincos being used in any serious competitive matches.

That's because the serious competitors choose rifles that are actually accurate enough to compete at the higher levels, they don't waste their time with Norinco.

On the other hand, the people that brag about Norinco accuracy, really have no idea just how accurate a rimfire can be.

With all the bragging heard, when invited to our 100 yard match, the excuses are sudden but leaving no doubt there is considerable doubt in their ability and that of the rifle.
None have shown up at the my other club's 50 yard BR.

DIP Rail came in. Mounted up a Nightforce F1 in ATRS rings and added an Atlas bipod. Pretty sweet setup for Gophers in the spring.

While we were out shooting one day after work, not a quality picture, but these guns do get out and see some use!

The 1727F is my absolute favourite firearm!

It's an Anschutz. If you look at their current biathlon stocks you will see the resemblance.

Thanks. Yep that's an IOR fixed 10x, an excellent scope but I may be getting something with more magnification in the future.
