Thanks, Gordon. What torque levels did you use to attach the barrel?

I had a machinist friend do the install and head spacing. He had done some before so thought he was the right choice rather than myself.

An update after winning a Sightron SIII 36X scope. Used it in the Hunter Class at 100 and 200 Metres.



A 20 shot group shot at 200 Metres


An 11-shot group shot at 200 Metres. The 11th shot is probably mine . . . mind still on target 5 when should have been on #6. Should have lost one "X". Since there were issues when using 20 shots, we resorted to 10.

A fine looking rifle. How does it shoot?

Shoots ok with CCI mini mags, but not great. I’m hoping to test it out this weekend with some target ammo. Having said that, I’ve only got a 4X scope on it, so I’ll take that in to consideration.

Anschutz 1710 HB ES SS. The tiger stripes are on both side of the fore end.

Anyone have any idea what model Anschutz this is? There is no mdl. # on the rifle. Bought as a winter project.
