I couldn't find the pictures thread over on the poodle shooters forum, so here's my very own poodle shooter, Ruger Mini-14 in an Archangel Sparta stock.

The mini 14 and the m14 are my favorite rifles in my cabinet.

Nice! First Elcan I've seen on an M14.

It does look high but I can assure you it is comfortable to shoot with and easy to acquire a good sight picture.

Those two are my favorites as well. What is so refreshing for a Yank posting a Mini-14 on a Canadian gun forum is that the AR15 crowd does not immediately chime in with "woulda/coulda/shoulda bought an AR".

Anyone know if the 590 adapter would work? it seems a bit shorter, but as long as the bolt is centered it shouldn't matter right?
