The BD-44 (StG44/MP44) w/pics...

CLAVEN2;
It would appear that we have many socialists out there....

You simply donot understand, as the importer we should buy the goods, import them, pay all taxes, duties, brokerage etc, etc, and then sell them at a loss....
Gee now I sound like a crown corporation

Thanks for understanding
John

Why are these threads always the target of #####ers and whiners? We're lucky we have the STG on the market all, let alone for any price.

Well, I might have to sell my old pontiac due to some Toronto parking law stupidity, so I might have to take a closer look at one of these things. After all how often does something that is 7/8 of the original come along? In a few years this stuff might not be available at any price.

Listening to Claven and John going on, I am feeling the urge to trim the fat, cut corners and buy one of those babies. Otherwise I know they will become one of those "Gee I wish I bought one of those way back when..." guns. They either won't be making them long, or they'll just keep going up in price.

Plus I feel the need to support companies like Marstar who take a chance on some of this less than mainstream stuff.

We will offer the different wood as it becomes available....
Our beech stocks are original in every respect....
Buy both models, why torture yourself with difficult decisions....
Then the SKb-42, an Fg-42, a BD-3008, etc, etc....
John

Sorry for the silly question, but whats the SKb-42?

BLACKGUNLOVER;
You made a rather serious statement with regards to our having "screwed you over some 15 years ago....

I did request your comments in a reply to substantiate this claim....

I think it only fair that you reply,

John

BLACKGUNLOVER;
Ok so I "screwed you around" 15 years ago.... Would you mind backing this statement up with some facts ? Your name would be nice (PM if you prefer)

Since you have dealt so many of the MP-44s we certainly must have met since we delivered 1000s in Canada and the US.

I look forward to your reply

John
That is not for this board and while we are at it just because you have seen thousands makes you in no way an expert. I have handle thousands of of different types of firearms and all we usually do is take the serial number, and the overall condition and then ship. If you were lucky/unlucky enough 1000's of rifle could have been the same month's production. I don't deal MP44s They are one of the few I have actually researched.

Look forward to your range report Sgt. Striker,
a very nice rifle! Wow!

Does it strip down and assemble fast?

Still waiting for some reloading supplies... as for the S&A, yea not bad for the first time. You can only remover the bolt, bolt carrier and the springs. I looked at the trigger assy and said, nope, don't think so. I guess you can remove the gas plug too, but I've had no reason to do so yet.... ie she's not "dirty" yet.... :D

BLACKGUNLOVER;
You are prepared to make your claims in the public domain, you should be prepared to back it up in the same domain.

As for being an "expert" I never claimed to be, however now that you bring it up I have been so accepted in every level of court in Canada as an expert witness in firearms, up to and including the Supreme Court.

I have been so classified in a few states in the US including one very notorious murder trial a few years ago.

Not to mention a few foreign governments who have classified me as such.... But I guess that simply comes with several decades of experience....

I await your supporting evidence to your claim....
John

Sgt STRIKER;
I understand you will be swaging your bullets soon, let me know if you need lead wire, I extrude it here in various diameters..
