The BD-44 (StG44/MP44) w/pics...

Tagged for interest. I think I have to start selling some product off to come up with the cash for one of these. Damn they look good!

Sent my 10rd mag back to Marstar last week, and just got my "MP44" 5/30 rd one in the mail. Just wanted to say thanks very much to Johnone & his for this paticular mag. I was a real nice surprise, if you know what I mean, nudge nudge wink wink..... :D

Hi guys. I'm from the US and our facist regime has not yet allowed these to be imported into the US. Supposedly, Interordnance is trying to bring it in and has submitted one to the ATF for consideration. I put my name on the waiting list for one, praying that this thing goes through. I've seen all the info on the net about these but have yet to hear any reports as to accuracy and reliability. ANY information from you guys who own or have shot the BD44 would be VERY much appreciated. Also, can the 30 round mags that are not pinned be shipped south?

Another US resident here - drooling over these showing up here.

Suprised by the lack of ammo up there - plenty of newly made non-corrosive, re-loadable, Portugese ammo here. Wondering why it's not being shipped to you?

Can the Marstar rep please explain what work is being done by their affliated company down here? Is this InterOrdnance or another firm? I am hopeing quality will not suffer here.

We have an overabundance of very silly importing laws for ammunition, and so we miss out on most of the surplus. The government wants to test samples of any surplus ammo to be imported, and it is not a quick process by any means.

There is no way you guys can be jealous of our situation! The US is the land of the $40 Mosin Nagant and full autos! :D

I want a few more details before ordering one - would have to sell off one of my all correct Win-13 Garands for it.

The ammo I mention is not surplus, but newly manufactured commercial ammo.

Moisins are now about $79-$99.

I searched "BD44"......found nothing useful. What I'm looking for is some REALLY good information such as there is in the BD38 review thread. Plenty of closeup pictures of both the rifle externals and internals as well as some target pictures. I am familiar with the real thing because I know a guy who owns one. I'm looking for the meat and potatoes on the BD44 in particular.
