The Benelli M4 Thread

You know -

I got a Fabarm 14" pump - and yes, it takes a few minutes to re-adjust yourself to it.

At the end of the day - they're both fun though!.....

I think a lot of the M4 love comes from guys that have never owned any other autoloader shotgun. Don't get me wrong, the Benelli is great but my Beretta A390 is easily as reliable and damn near as fast. That's one of the reason's why I sold my M4.

Same reason I got rid of mine. The M4 is very well built, reliable and above all a "cool" looking gun, but it's uses are pretty much limited to the range and the military.

Don't forget turkey hunting ;). Sweet little thing for that. It definitely has a dedicated function, but damn does it excel in those purposes. A lot of nice semi shotguns out there for sure, and have handled a lot, but still lust for my benelli. Beauty in the eye of the beholder!

Shot both my Spring turkeys with my M4, 1.25 ounces @1550 fps steel shoot from a mod choke pattern very tight @ 40 yards... JP.

Alright my young learned friends - I gotta question for the Benelli M4 Yoda's out there.

When I opened the box of my brand new Super 90 M4 Entry 14" / Collapsible Stock / Pistol Grip - I found two UPC stickers (actually two stickers joined by a perforation / not yet separated).

First sticker:

Alpha Numeric Number / CARCASSA
UPC CODE
Matricola Serial # (actual on my shotgun)
CRC SA M4 SUPER 90 T
EL PG TC OP EUR CAL 12

Second Sticker:

Alpha Numeric Number / CANNA
UPC CODE
Matricola Serial # (not the serial # on my shotgun)
CNC SA M4 S90 M1014
CAM 76 OP 14" ***MI
R GH S CAL 12

Anyone have any insights on these two stickers? one has my actual serial # on it, and the other doesn't - maybe, depending on the shotgun's end destination, one or the other was to be used?

What does the CARCASSA mean on the top of the first sticker? This is the sticker that bears my actual

The top of the second sticker has CANNA on it - what's up with that?

The second sticker makes a little more sense to me - but as I say, the actual serial # of the gun is on the first sticker (arhhhh!).

Ok, ok - I'm getting frustrated again ...breath, breath, ...... Ok - I'm alright now ...... Time to go back to the 'Girls with Guns' thread ....

Thanks guys - I know someone out there has gotta know ....

Great shotguns just are naturally good at doing what they are supposed to do... JP.

Thanks for the PM - Abby

I have both and i prefer the strait stock for fast shouldering, the collapsable is nice for saving room ... JP.

heh, heh - ok ,,,,,, I mean, I guess ..

Those stickers? - I confirmed that they both described the same firearm - the destination determined which serial # / description to be used.

Ok, ok - I'm out of shells !!! - Back to the Girls - gotta go ....

I have an M4 with the collapsible stock and I am looking for some recommendations for a sling for it. What are you guys using and what should I avoid?
