The Beretta CX4 Thread

Youtube is a nice friend learned a lot of my disassembly\assembly

Yeah watched most on YouTube but can’t find a good one showing removal/assembly of the spring. One I’ve watched over and over has disabled comments now too. Maybe someone has some advice not in the manual?

If you don't mind paying for a long distance phone call to Portland Oregon, you can phone SierraPapa (503) 621-3017, or go to their website h tt p://sierrapapacx4.com/ they could give you some help.

Does anyone know if the vendor for Sierra Papa products are still bringing them in? My email to them was bounced back as undeliverable. Thought I'd ask here before giving them a call

I got mine from that place that sounds like the ##### culture a couple years ago. Great customer service from them. Also ended up calling sierra papa over a slight issues and the boss man was awesome to deal with.
Very pricy for what you get, but it was quality. And made the CX4 much more enjoyable. Much easier at quick follow up shots now.

I checked their site ("Canadian customers"), it's legal/life issues. Import license not valid till resolved.

Brutal.

I would keep it. I think they are a very under rated pistol carbine. I think they are worth more in fun plinking than what you'll get back from selling it.

Right now there are a number of other options out there as well that are very cool and have driven down the price of second hand CX4 storms. But most of those also have drawbacks. For the sure value, reliability and functioning, the CX4 storm is still a heck of a pistol carbine. I also happen to like the looks. Your clean version without the rails and with the Holosun, looks very sleek.

I ended up buying a restricted CX4 later on as seen in the photos. The used ( in excellent shape) value having plummeted made it one of those EE deals I couldn't say no to. They are fun and do have a lot going for them. Not the newest and coolest but they are very solid and still tons of fun to shoot.

I totally agree I tried the JR carabine and the Kel-Tec sub2k and the tnw all in 9mm My CX4 with my Sierra Papa upgrade and my eotech is just a beast no failure no hiccups and love every type of 9mm ammo another point I really love the last round open bolt !

My three 9MM PCC's. The CX4 Storm gets the nod for IDPA PCC Division, Worst trigger of the three but the shortest in overall length, great for getting around walls and barriers. The Ruger will get it's share of Stage time while the Sub2K Gen 2 will serve as my truck gun mag loaded with 147 gr solids. Both thr Ruger and Sub2K use Glock mags.

The first two sport Vortex Sparc2's while the Sub2K has a Vortex Strikerfire. All three Optics are very good in service. I may swap out the Sparc2 on the Ruger with the Strikefire once I decide to get the Red Lion or MCarbo mount. I want to retain the fold ability of the Sub2K. I am leaning towards the Red Lion mount.

Take Care

How is this still not a sticky? WTF.

Anyways, I traded a rifle for one again. Decided it would make a good companion for the situation we are all in.

Bushnell Lil P prism is a perfect pairing :)

Great little gun. I wish mine had a decent trigger but it doesn't. I should really install the Sierra Papa trigger kit in the gun. The carbine is dead nuts reliable. I have never had a jam or FTF of any kind in the gun.

Yea, it took some getting used to for the one I used to have. This one has the sierra papa and it seems to take a lot of the weight out of the pull. I'm excited to see if I can rapid fire, I couldn't seem to with the factory trigger.
