Thanks for the links. It was probably designed that way for a reason so I will try it as is for awhile, at least until warranty is over.

its all easily replaceable, and nothing is done to the firearm itself, so there is no way you'd ever know anything was done.

and the reason it was done was cost. the hammer is friggin plastic... and plastic parts ride on other plastic parts, so not super reliable in the long term either.

For $1200 I did expect a better trigger. However it is better than a norinco np18! ( that's a joke son!)

The 45 version uses the beretta 8045 pistol magazine, when I got mine used it came with 5 magazines and the beretta fitted hard case.

I bought it from #####. Was 200 something plus tax and exchange. Came out to just under 340 can.

sup boys, just mounted my nikon p223 1.5x4.5 scope on this bad boy. May be a slight cant in it, will adjust it now lol.

oh also, trigger jobs for this gun. I know the americans have all sorts of access to places like sierra papa. Who can get this baby down to a more crisp and 4-3 pound trigger pull? in Ontario..GTA or surrounding areas.

I've got the Sierra Papa upgrade from Az####h armory on 2 of my carbines. One carbine is starting to show some wear and peening on some plastic parts. I'd replace all the internals with metal parts if I could!

do it yourself. its kind of a pain simply because there are no good write-ups about it, but I got mine done. no really special tools, and the guys at Sierra Papa are awesome for tech support. They called me at home on their dime to help me. I figured it out on my own, but he did go to the trouble.
