what is the best 9mm handgun I can get for $1000 or less? I want a 9mm for the cheaper ammo so I can get alot of practice. I would mostly use it for target and home defense. What are your opinions? If you had $1000 to buy a gun right now, what would you get?##

Glock! Great gun and less than $1000
I have said it before, my opinion is to find a range that rents guns: buy the one you shoot the best with within your budget. I was never happy with handgun shooting until I did it: now that I have fully learned on the gun I was "a natural at" I am able to move forward with those solid techniques to other firearms.
