The Best Pictures From Hunting, Without the Kill

Not from a hunt trip but related. Did a job at the U of T building in Mississauga, right in town the deer population is quite large.
They have become so familiar with people nearby that if you take a few minutes, they let you walk right up to them.

These photos were taken right on the campus in a small patch of woods no bigger than 100'x100', they would walk right past our construction trailer almost daily.

Gotta say your pictures sure make me miss the coast! Some from around the Dean channel and cascade inlet.

Camera died going up Cascade inlet after this, disappointing to say the least! The amount of waterfalls is in the spring is indescribable! Unreal watching the dozens of "rivers" snake down from the mountain tops and spill out 50 yards from you! Unfortunately my camera was dead going by the rocks Alexander Mackenzie enscribed

I call this spot "Weathertop" (Rings fans will understand). I saw the biggest whitetail of my life from the exact spot I took this picture, about halfway up the hill.......two weeks before the season opened. That sight is forever burned in my mind.
