This guy started hanging around on the 2nd and has pretty much used my yard and woodlot as his personal safe zone LOL
See, he knows its youth and archery season right now and that I don't have a crossbow
That's probably about 50ft away , 3x3 mulie still in velvet. I've been surprised by him much closer going to and from the greenhouse a few times. He better learn some fear of humans or he won't last long around these parts hehe

This buck , same one I posted earlier , just won't leave my yard LOL
It's like he waits for me to come outside and seems to want to play...... never had a deer behave like this one.
Sleeping behind my shop every day, the bedding area is well used.
So today I go outside and I see him peeking at me thru the weeds behind the shop. I go to my greenhouse and do my chores and come out and he's waiting for me...... he's like 10 feet away or so and no fear at all. He's real lucky i don't own a crossbow or he would have been in the freezer a few days ago when any buck archery season was open. I enjoy having the deer around though..... just not sure what this one is up to as it seems to want to get close to me.

Recent photos from an unsuccessful moose hunt. Seen two bulls but had cow/calf tag. Still a great time. Seen 3Black bears, black timber wolf with a silver/grey mask,2 silver foxes and an otter! The bear pics through a windshield while scouting before opening day.

Hanging out with my son in a rare moment when I'm home a couple weeks ago when whitetail season opened. I honestly don't care if I shoot a deer, I just love getting out. And I want my kids to feel the same way.
He ended up dropping a young buck the following weekend but I wasn't with him, he was out with his big brother that day.
