You do not "mill" barrels...you turn them.

It uses a standard heavy M2 barrel.......later we will scale the barrels down........damned things weigh a ton!!

As a suggestion, can't you park the barrel and receiver separately, and then assemble afterwards?

True - but unless you like that PTRS look, you could always shorten and recrown it a little to be more in line with conventional .50 barrels. I think it'd look cool with a 6" shorter barrel sporting a 3 or 4" compensator. :shock: :twisted:

What size barrel lugs are you going to be using in that beast? The Bill Holmes .50 uses 3 lugs, big ones, but I figured it'd be much easier to machine 2 lugs or 4 lugs... (my head works better with right angles, rather than 60's and 120's... :wink: )
