Took a few years but I joined the club.

Anyone know how you take the flashhider off? Just with a wrench? Also any source for a thread protector as well?

Beauty... Just like mine..... The flash hider is screw in....

I have had mine off, I used a tiny insulated screwdriver (where the shank is plastic coated), put it through the holes and rotated it off.....

That being said, it doesn't bother me on so I left it...... Never seen a thread protector available....

This has me curious though..... Can anyone with a non flash hider model tell me if the barrel is threaded to accept one or not?

Thanks.... The flash hider doesn't excite me or bother me.... it's just "there" in my opinion....

There's no real need for the flash hider for casual user, just look *cool*.
