The Cooey Single Shot is King in Canada

...... You heard me! The Cooey Single Shot is King in Canada for grouse hunting!

I would hazard a guess that more grouse have been taken in Canada over the years with a single shot Cooey than any other single shotgun. I consider it to be the APEX of shotguns for road hunting grouse from an ATV or other vehicle. I have two, one 20 and another in 12. The 12 with it's 30" bbl will take the head off a grouse at 200yds with a heavy load of #6. The smaller 20 works well at 150yds. Both are slayers and no other single shot comes even close to a Cooey.

The 12 went with me this fall to the deer camp. It's a good thing I took it as I left my deer tag at home and could only hunt grouse. (me dumb)

Three feet is about right, but you'll need a full choke.

You may be gifted, but no shotgun in the world has head shot accuracy at 200 yards, 20 maybe...

I know eh? I wouldn't have believed that myself if I hadn't done it. I use a laser rangefinder for those shots. It really upped my game.

Here's two I got with the 20 a couple yrs ago. Lasered at 127 yards. Not a pellet in the breast.

My single shot Model 39s have taken more grouse than anything else I own, that's for sure.

lol he has to be joking like another has said I’ve been hit with shot from a distance of 70 or 80 yards from a 12 Guage and did not even sting and there was not even any kind of shot density to take head off partridge at those distances let alone 200 yards. I would not be telling stories like that to anyone you want to take you serious
