Add an 18yr old blonde to that, and mid life crisis solved
Beautiful pistol but there is something about an HK Mark 23 that can't be explained.
Add an 18yr old blonde to that, and mid life crisis solved
And a Porche
Nice gun.
I thought everyone on CGN knew the cure for a mid life crisis.
BUY MORE GUNS.
Very nice.
But you should keep at least one of those polymer guns.
They do have their place.
I've bought a few strikers but you're right, it's the metal that brings me the most joy. Nothing like a good, solid all-steel firearm in the hand.
Not sure "when" mid-life crisis is supposed to be... but seems like finding time to shoot is more of an issue than buying more guns.

This been said, a pro-gun wife that likes to shoot is hard to beat.
If he wants to enjoy life, he will run from the female types!
I've got a pair of Remington 'Commanders' in .45 ACP; one stainless, the other a 'melted' blue model. Both came with good triggers out of the box. Best 1911s I own and I rarely shoot my 5" Gov't models any more. They are the size a 1911 should have been from the get-go.
Recently I re-audited the IPSC 'Black Badge'; course using the SS model. We each fired over 600 rds during the two days. One other dinosaur used the 'antedeluvian' 1911, his a 5" Gov't model with an optical site. We kicked ass amongst the 9mm 'poodle shooters' using the usual Glocks, CZs and S&Ws used in the game.
I am not surprised. A good shooter can outperform someone who relies on gadgetry. I have a lot of respect for people who use the classics well instead of flavours of the month.
