The Death of BRASS or ALLOY cases?

Well kind of...
Hold your beer...
that video was made before (I think) federal +peak hit the civilian market and did not get selected for .mil use like federal's nickel plated steel case tech. I'm fairly sure plastic's susceptibility to heat and plastic deformation will prevent plastic cased ammo from being kept in war stores in the near future. plastic ammo would be in my opinion much less reloadable than even steel case with current reloading tools.

.
plastic ammo equals a faster cooked barrel
since it is a insulator for heat...
Instead of all that instant heat from primer igniting powder SPREAD across the whole metal case and absorbed into the chamber, the insulation value transfers at all right to the exit end of the case.
HEAT is stlill there...it does not magically disappear.

Hey, I have an idea. Let's use brass for our cartridge cases! Like we have for 150 years and will continue to do far longer than this thread will be remembered.

Yes, i caught the gist - this thread is a waste of breath. Brass cartridge cases will still be made for more years than we'llbe alive to use them.

I like a good whine tasting as much as anyone, but if it's bad whine it's ok to spit it out. :)
🤣For a thread you called a 'waste of breath,' you sure typed out a lot of words. Are you always this easily baited by shiny objects, or is the reply button just an addiction at this point?🤣

The most likely thing to make brass cases obsolete is going to be a new technology - rail guns, lasers, something like that. Something that doesn't use burning gun powder to make it go. Steel cases aren't new. Fancy alloys aren't new. Two piece case designs aren't new. Smokeless powder is almost 150 years old, there isn't much we haven't tried in that time.

That's cute. I typed far less than you did, and said more.

Speaking of addictions there was a point in this thread i wondered what you were on, you seemed so frantic.

The emoticons are a nice touch. Do a meme next and I'll let you know if it is worthy. Never let a failure stop you.

Yep...definitely sounds like another conspiracy to me...

What specific part of ballistics is 'meth head' physics used in?
New cartridge ?
New caliber?
Is there vids or brochures?
Don't be shy; just toss it all out to the crowd.
Lol, What part of physics is "shiny button"?

Let your heart rate slow down a bit, take a breath. Learn to accept failure and grow from it.

Duh, the conspiracy where we lose all the brass so we can't reload and are forced to use non-reloadable steel cases. That was your whole message, right?

I guess the whine is not that bad....surprisingly!

And CONSPIRACY is on you... and the person who asked with rolleyes.

The question on the thread is pretty simple. I just don't see conspiracy in it.

As for that shiny button—for some people it's a safety, but for you in this thread, it's just a trigger.

Taking a deep breath was good for you. You're even using sentences and capital letters now.

Do you want to make a little bet between gentlemen (you and me) that there will still be oodles of new brass for years to come?

A running bet for the next 20 years, with first reckoning a year from today. Every year that new brass cases are readily available - you pay me. Every year it's not available - i pay you.

How much $/year do you want to bet?

grammar is NOT an issue as in 27 *...got the gist* along with the whine.
as far as betting with you, would be like a stacked craps table at a VEGAS casino.

Lol, you abruptly come to understand that the chances of brass cases going away anytime soon is close to zero. All it took was asking you to put your money where your mouth is.

Funny how often a little bet opens eyes and provides CLARITY of character.
