The dilema of CoreyTheCowboy

While we wait for the rifle to ship, anyone got any pet 8x57 loads?

P.S. Got too starstruck by having a thread started about myself that I forgot to order bullets...

If you are a fan of the Barnes TTSX, my classic Husqvarna M-98 (milsurp action) likes a 160 gr TTSX over 50.0 grains of BL-C(2) in a PPU case with CCI 200 primers. All shots touching at 100 yards, which surprised me with this recently acquired beauty from TradeEx. Yet another great rifle from Tony.

You know it was good pie when it's 6 years later and I still can't think straight...I even ended up with a .270 from him last year...

Cory

True. He traded for a very fine FN sporter with wrap around checkering on a lovely piece of European walnut and a near perfect bore that shoots MOA groups with the Lyman receiver sight. We won’t be telling the other side of story on that one.

Building an old ugly is to keep him balanced. When he is ravished by the 8mm, the hook will be in to build the 9.3!
