Any muzzle rise using these? Both have the Armanov comps . View attachment 854427
I will leave this here. My suggestion is an up ported comp whether it be the madcow one, a Davinci Diesel, an MBX, or the Tandemkross Game Changer. We have done testing (a bunch of us)... they work on all lengths of barrel, just more so on shorter barrels. What you want is a compensator not a muzzle break

Anyone tried the TriggerTech Duty AR9 trigger pack in the FX-9?
3 weeks ago I picked up a triggertech FX9 adaptable 3.5 to 6 lb trigger from the Calgary Shooting Center.Anyone tried the TriggerTech Duty AR9 trigger pack in the FX-9?
Triggertech have the AR9 Duty trigger, flat blade, single stage with fixed 3.5lb pull for $135 all in and delivered during their BF sale.3 weeks ago I picked up a triggertech FX9 adaptable 3.5 to 6 lb trigger from the Calgary Shooting Center.
Only have around 300 rounds downrange with it but initial impressions are it is a nice trigger.
Very little take up (it is a 2 stage) with a short reset. A great improvement over the factory trigger but IMHO not quite as nice as the Timneys which I have on AR’s. Likely due to it being a two stage and being a curved trigger. I wanted a flat trigger but this is what CSC had in stock.
No regrets purchasing it.
Only Reason I bought the one I did was due to this on the triggertech website:Triggertech have the AR9 Duty trigger, flat blade, single stage with fixed 3.5lb pull for $135 all in and delivered during their BF sale.
Less than half the price of the Triggertech FX-9 adaptable model.
Their search algorithm recommended it for the FX-9 (along with their Fx-9 specific model) but I can’t seem to find any feedback from anyone who’s tried one. I emailed Triggertech but no response yet - busy times.
Just thought I’d see if anyone here had tried the Triggertech Ar9 Duty trigger in the FX-9? NOT the same trigger as their FX-9 trigger with adjustable pull.
Only Reason I bought the one I did was due to this on the triggertech website:
The FX-9 trigger is nearly identical to the AR-9 trigger design, except it has lower disconnect engagement to provide the extra clearance required by the FX-9 platform bolt carrier group. This trigger is ideal for PCC’s that have a lower bolt carrier group.
I thought that meant the AR9 trigger may not work 100% reliably.
Curious as I have the same adjustable trigger but started to experience light strikes every 2-3 rounds or sometimes even back to back. I have a Gen 2 and was informed the firing pin for the Gen 2 is 40% longer so I cut a few coils and it somewhat improved but still experience light strikes, it’s a relief if I’m able to get a full 10 out with no hiccups.3 weeks ago I picked up a triggertech FX9 adaptable 3.5 to 6 lb trigger from the Calgary Shooting Center.

I’ll take a look through the channel sometime this week. I tried it out again at the range and had one run that was 29 rounds shot and 1 light strike. Then 12 light strikes out of the next 30 rounds. I’m about 500 rounds in with this trigger, I’ve tried mostly STV Scorpio 124gr, maybe the primers are little harder and FX doesn’t like it. I’ll try some PMC Bronze 124gr and Blazers. No issues so far.
Mine is a gen 2 as well.
I have the trigger turned down as low as it will go in terms of trigger pull weight.
Only ammo thru it has been my reloads with CCI primers and federal military / law enforcement division training ammo 115 gr FMJ and some American Eagle 124 gr.
That said only 300 rounds with this trigger on this FX9.
On my other FX9 (totally factory) when I removed the firing pin to clean the BCG there were tiny brass filings (like dust) in the firing pin channel that I suspect were the result of firing out of battery. I could see this causing issues with the free movement of a firing pin and suspect that pin was sticking causing the out of battery issues - was seeing a few bulged cases.
Did you take a look at the firing pin channel with a light?
That Ammo is terrible it’s not your FX! my CZ spo1 P320 & Vector all had the same issues with that exact round., I’ve tried mostly STV Scorpio 124gr, maybe the primers are little harder and FX doesn’t like it.
