With the number of people calling the RCMP about the current mag issues, I can see a few years being added to each rifle in the current process
 
yep it is a 12.3 converted auto. It is 13th on the list on the first page of the original post. I have an update on the 12.3 's being examined . They have had a M14 there for 5 years
 
Considering airguns as a firearm in my mind is completely ridiculous and makes absolutely no sense what so ever. Why we allow for airguns to become classified just like firearms is beyond me.

although it has the same issue, i dont believe it is the same rifle in question.
i was under the impression the M2/M3HB was a hybrid between the M2 and the M3. two, or maybe three different guns by law.

swapping around parts and making a hybrid will still end in the same issue, all sides need to be of new manufacture, I believe the trunion as well as they are marked with original serial from when they are assembled/put in use by the military armory as full auto.

My understanding is the original M2's that TNW made and sold in Canada as NR were from brand new never assembled parts kits, basically a blank canvas not subject to any "converted auto" claim by the RCMP lab.
