It's actually a bit of a nothing burger. No dimensional differences vs Gen 5. Same holsters etc., which is good. I thought the V models were supposed to be thin frames.

Why would we want the V model?

Personally I'd like one of the Ruger RXM models. It's a Glock without the Glock. 🤷‍♂️
The RXM IMO is “game changer” the pistol on its own shoots well & is reliable, it also has the ability to go to the next level. Frame changes(metal), slides, comps etc. It’s first on my list, if we ever become Free again 🤞🫤

The V model is just to prevent someone from installing a drop in auto sear. This is what happens when you put a woman (Gaston’s daughter) in charge of a gun industry. She caved to commiefornia. Gaston would’ve never done this!

What happened when Colt put a woman in charge? lol.

It's all too easy for us to armchair quarterback someone else's business, eh? Gaston would have done the exact same thing, in the exact same time, for the exact same reasons, M$O$N$E$Y!!!

Just watched a bunch of reviews on the RXM this week. Have to agree I'd be grabbing one as well if I moved to the US (let's be honest, legal handguns are gone for good in canadia)

While that's easy to say, with all the lawsuits thrown against them (I think it was 10 at last count), even the mighty Glock would have gone bankrupt fighting them all. To avoid their own demise, better to hype a new version, and sell another 20 million pistols, before the pearl clutchers realize it will take a mediocre engineer about an hour to make a new autosear for the post vag models.

Of course the gangbangers will continue to use pre vag models and ####ty 3d autosears. But liberals aren't really known for critical thinking.

Of course the other ironic part is that law enforcement and military will continue to be able to purchase the pre vag for the forseeable future. It will also be interesting to see if LEO organizations will be able to dump their used guns on the civilian market, as they have done for years. LEO trade ins are a huge market in the US, if new laws prevent them from being sold... that's a lot of barely fired guns in their inventory.

Glocks are Glocks. But I wish I could have a revolver right now... but the revolvers that I really want most weren't legal in Canada for a long ass time... except the S&W Model 629. If they ever repeal the handgun ban I am getting one ASAP.
