There aren't many Ruger models that I'd steer clear of...if Trudeau wasn't such an as shole. Why would we want the V model?
Personally I'd like one of the Ruger RXM models. It's a Glock without the Glock.![]()
FTFYNo external dimensional differences vs Gen 5.
The RXM IMO is “game changer” the pistol on its own shoots well & is reliable, it also has the ability to go to the next level. Frame changes(metal), slides, comps etc. It’s first on my list, if we ever become Free againWhy would we want the V model?

The V model is just to prevent someone from installing a drop in auto sear. This is what happens when you put a woman (Gaston’s daughter) in charge of a gun industry. She caved to commiefornia. Gaston would’ve never done this!
Just watched a bunch of reviews on the RXM this week. Have to agree I'd be grabbing one as well if I moved to the US (let's be honest, legal handguns are gone for good in canadia)The RXM IMO is “game changer” the pistol on its own shoots well & is reliable, it also has the ability to go to the next level. While that's easy to say, with all the lawsuits thrown against them (I think it was 10 at last count), even the mighty Glock would have gone bankrupt fighting them all. To avoid their own demise, better to hype a new version, and sell another 20 million pistols, before the pearl clutchers realize it will take a mediocre engineer about an hour to make a new autosear for the post vag models. The V model is just to prevent someone from installing a drop in auto sear. No gen 4 17L was that gen's weakness.Gen 4 was perfect. Didn't need a gen 5 or any other further model.
I've got some unfortunate news regarding Ruger and the 1994 "Assault Weapons Ban" down south.I'd rather get a Ruger RXM after Glock folded in California, to hell with companies bending for gun grabbers.
William B. Ruger died in 2002, and the ban expired in 2004. I understand Ruger back then was complacent to the ban. Is the Ruger 2025 the same?I've got some unfortunate news regarding Ruger and the 1994 "Assault Weapons Ban" down south.
Let me know when I can stop hating GlockWilliam B. Ruger died in 2002, and the ban expired in 2004. I understand Ruger back then was complacent to the ban. Is the Ruger 2025 the same?
Does it even matter in a country where we cannot buy handguns?Let me know when I can stop hating Glock
