The Great Martian War

I suppose that they can pair it up with ancient alien crap?

Not the World at War but what ever happened to the series,'Big Battles'?
I think it was an anglo-french production from the early to mid sixties.

They should swap names with the Comedy network. Everything on there is old news, and everything on the History channel is a joke.

Auggie D.

I am a huge SciFi nut and really wanted to like this. It ####ing sucked, no doubt about it. I really think we need to turf Canadian content laws as we suck at the visual arts...always have and still do. Music and comedy is the only entertainment art that Canada seems to really step up for.

Total disappointment. Why Canada why?!?!?!?

IIRC, it was a UK production "imported" to the History Channel in Canada.

And yes, it was utterly disappointing....

It was a joint effort predominately Canadian. Guessed you missed all the propaganda too. 90%+ of the interviewees were Canadian, including the ridiculous First Nations connection.

"The Great Martian War. Co-produced by Canada’s eOne Entertainment (Haven) and Britain’s Impossible Pictures (Dig World War II),"

Ah, TV. Meeting the highest possible standard as per. Although, in it's defence, they wouldn't put it on if there wasn't a market for it.
