The GSG 16 modification thread

Honestly I tried it many configs. I like the UMP/MP5 look, and the light weight. Because I can easially put the DTB rail delete, the GSG5 front sight assembly and my lighted forearm I have in the parts bin. Make it totally like a MP5 But wanted to be different than dirrection people are going. And no I'm not selling the conversion parts.
The SEF Grips are ICS but are discontinued. I think you can use other airsoft versions but haven't tried. I am upgrading to proper steel SEF fire selector switches but am scared of modifying my trigger assembly to make work.
Here is the steel SEF fire selector installed just in the housing.
Im curious because im doing my self a HK G3/33 look on mine too,but with the slim handguard,where have you found the cocking tube ? airsoft ?

This is exactly what I want
so basically $100 more than the regular one
Id argue that its actually less material so it should be cheaper
but i 100% understand that because its a small custom run for Canada they need to recoup the tooling costs. Hopefully they sell a boat load and the cost comes down. Eventually the 9 inch would be the standard one and the 16.5 would be the oddball here

This thing is really growing on me. Must be that I finally got it to cycle with CCI regular, when every other local .22 50 pack wouldnt go more than 6 shots before needing a manual cycle.
Designed this hex gaurd, which is a clear winner for me. GF says to add 2 more rows of them, but I'm unsure because then you start to see the chamber part of the barrel, not through to the other side (see my post #1612 for what I mean, that was Rev 1)
Next on the project idea is either the navy-style buttstock, or a magpull angled front grip. Maybe magazine covers to make them solid?
Round mp5-sd is a file from online, and goes over the stock piece. I'll sell it for 10$+ship to anyone who wants it! Not for me.

Finally got the steel MP5 front sight and steel trilug adaptor fitted!
Trilug threads onto the Dlask Barrel replacing the Dlask 1/2"x28 barrel adaptor
Woohoo!! Now I can look stock again lol. No it doesn't do anything

Thanks,but other than the charging handle and maybe stock the HK 53 will look like a MP5.

Good job,nicely done,i dont want to be the party pooper here so dont boo at me,but if i were you i would remove the HK quick pin fromn the stock and put back the one from GSG that need to be screwd,just an input for you.

He just said it in a reply to someones question a few hours ago. I hope it's the case there's so much potential in these rifles for people who like the bone stock rifle or the modders.
