I was helping a buddy dig through some crates of tools he has in his garage that belonged to his grandfather. The crates were sealed with a bit of moisture in them i guess and all the tools and everything else in them were rusted up.

Then i found these.

I could cry! What a waste! (Any ideas what they are? or were)

He wanted to restore one or two of them. They all #### and go click and the one with the barrel locks up very tight.
I told him they were not worth the trouble. Do they still have that "guns for a camera" deal going?:D

they look like single shot cooeys i have almost the identicle firearm
Thanks, I'll let him know his gramps was a cheapskate:D

That lower receiver is a double... do you have the barrels for that one?

Not yet.:)

I don't think the fore arm at the bottom matches up with the action. Was there another set of barrels in there?

You're right. After i stuck it there i figured out that the skinny thing wouldn't work on a double. Must be for the other cooey.

We're going to keep fishing through the crates today. (Got too drunk last night to start on the second crate)
They are all full to the top with old style handtools and such. (All rusted to #### now:() It's a real shame they all got wet as there's some realy sweet pieces there.

I'm setting some goals today. I'm hoping to find an old rusted Sten Mk II or a Bren or something. Is that asking too much?:D

go ahead and fix them up, fun winter project.
I'd rather buy something worthy of spending some quality time on. Something with some history.

My buddy who owns these has no license yet (He's been reading over the books all year on and off so he can get it and come hunting but has not done the challange yet) and i'm sure he won't want to go through the BS of registering these 3 rusted actions just for the sake of keeping them.
How does it work for verifying if there's no barrels or stocks anyway?

I think these may end up in the trash.

If there's no action, there's no firearm.
OOPS Sorry.. Typo. I knew that. What i meant to say is...

All he has here are 3 actions a but stock and a barrel. (so far) Do they verify the action as being only that and then you need to have it changed when you add pieces to it?

Also... Any ideas on what this SXS is? I know there's not much to go on. I told my friend i'd try anyway.

Here's 2 more pics. This action is the only one out of the 3 with any markings on it. just 4 numbers as shown.

That double-barrel looks an awful lot like one my brother just picked up from Ellwood Epps. His is a Ruko Pioneer. Ruko is/was a Canadian importing company, but I don't think they deal in firearms anymore.
