If it wasn't so expensive for something that doesn't do anything more than a standard lower I might consider one. I'm not the type to pay a bunch of extra money for things that are only cosmetically different.
I like the Hellbreaker one the best of the three but again it's a lot more money for something that serves no function.
I like Spikes Tactical AR parts and I'd be just as happy with one of their standard lowers and put the extra money towards the rest of the build.
I think there is probably a market for these though, same guys that drive jacked up pickup trucks with big mudders and never take them off the pavement who also get meaningless tattoos so they look badass would like these.
At first I thought that the thread was about BCM's Jack Carbine which I'd always thought was as nice-looking, well thought out (if a bit expensive) rifle. Then I watched the video and understood the comments better.
I like it, but I wouldn't pay much extra for it. The mag well opening looks flared, which may make it easier to find when inserting a new mag. All they need now is a bone shaped pistol grip & stock, lol!
^^This. It looks like a lot of detail on the teeth, and facial features. They are definitely a show piece/novelty item. The extra detail + cool factor certainly come into play with the price. If ATRS hadn't put out a NR lower, I'd probably have one on my DA50.. or a wall hanger. Not a piece to use constantly.
