Great.
Lets see. I ordered the same time.
So either
A) They forgot to charge my card when they shipped it.
B) They haven't processed my order yet?????
C) They lost the order
D) Poor ass service
These guys open during the holidays?? Have to call them and see what lame ass excuse they give.
I didn't know getting a cheap rifle meant no service
D)
How about corsair_canada has a definition of "mid-november" that falls before your order date of november 16th? Would that justify him getting his rifle first? Perhaps he ordered it on the 13th? Perhaps they'll process your order three business days after his?
How about "our employees would like to spend time with their families over Christmas"...is that a lame-@ss excuse for you not having your M-14 just yet? Speaking as someone who has a job that keeps him away from his family over Christmas, I wouldn't put up with it unless there was a VERY good reason. Treating their employees in a civilized fashion (ie one or two extra days off over the holidays) is a VERY effective strategy for building the kind of loyalty that retains good employees...and lets them provide better service to us, the customers.
If you wanted an M-14 in THAT much of a hurry, there is more than one place that you could have ordered from. It's not like it would have taken a crystal ball to figure out that Marstar might take a while to register all of those guns and process all of those orders.
Oh...I'm sorry...do you have a horde of rampaging Visigoths outside your house? Were you waiting for the M-14 to fend them off with? No? Then there's not much point in to getting your thong all knotted up.
Seriously...is there anyone here that has had their card charged and not received their rifle promptly? Anyone? How about someone that has been charged and received a rifle that wasn't up to par for a $400 semi-auto? Nobody? Anyone that feels they were misled by Marstar about how long it would before their rifle was delivered? These things would justify griping...not a delay caused by high demand and processing bottlenecks that Marstar went ahead and warned everyone about.
It doesn't matter what you offer people, somebody is always going to whinge about it.
If you're impatient, just say that you are eager to get your rifle and look forward to your first range day with it. Don't cr@p all over Marstar just because you're now realizing that "We'll ship it when we can" means exactly that...not the "You'll have your rifle in three weeks" that you translated it into.
