hickok45 does the rossi ranch hand with a full stock and a can.
One heck of a setup, I literally cannot imagine a more fun plinking setup.
Well worth a watch.

I loved how he noted that in Canada we're allowed to just put a stock on our Non-Restricted Ranch Hands. It's probably the only time a guy from Tennessee would ever envy stupid Canadian Gun Laws in his smooth southern drawl.

We have one more advantage in Canada as well, as far as gun laws...in the USA a shotgun barrel must be 18 inches or more.
In Canada, from places like Dlask Arms, you can legally buy and carry an 870 with a 8.5", 12.5", or 14" barrel. They're $300,
and you can order them with a blade or brass bead front sight.
Y'all caint do thet in the US of A... :)

I would GLADLY trade a 8.5inch barreled shotgun for the possibility to use a suppressor, fire full-auto, and other fancy NFA items and constitutional Rights. The 6 month wait time is not really different that the shipping delay we get from some dealers here...

I'd be happy to have a suppressed anything right now.

However, I'm sure that if our unrealistic/dumb laws accepted suppressors (and a Fat Chance at that), they'd include restrictions like OAL, action type, calibre, etc.

The anti's forget that a suppressed firearm is actually harder to conceal. Another advantage is the ability to discharge a firearm without a "thunderclap" disruption resonating for miles, which I think is more of an advantage for firearms owners (like hunters) and those around them.

Also, for any anti reading this post, garrottes and knives make crime quieter than a suppressed firearm, regardless of what Hollywood schooling teaches.

I really enjoyed this vid, and I check Hickok45's channel regularly. He was shooting one of my favourite firearms in my lock-up, dressed almost the same, and had the added bonus of the can!

Thats a pretty cool vid.

I would trade all our laws for what they have in the usa.

Sad...we have laws that prohibit suppressors yet there are places where they are REQUIRED by law. I'd love to own them to tame the report of the heavy hitters. Saddens me to think how our government treats us like children, and penalizes those who HAVEN'T done anything in the interest of political gain.

I found it odd that a Federal Stamp is required to add a full stock.

It's a hangover from prohibition and organized crime using cut down and improvised weapons....in order to stop the criminals some genius decided to make shortened long guns illegal unless you can afford a stamp.
They same type of law is responsible for Canadians being able to buy 14" pump shotguns but not being allowed to shorten a long barrel to 14"......silly rules.
It's an annoyance for our cousins down south but if they pay another fee they can add the suppressor which is nice.

New York or California? Maybe Conneticut? Or illinois?

While I'm not a fan of our situation, "what they have in the US" is not always better than what we have. In many ways yes, in other ways much much worse.

Hickok45 is a great figure for the sport. Love his videos.

We have a few advantages over the US... Once you have your PAL there are no waiting periods for purchasing firearms... We get to have SBR's without $$200 in paperwork and months of waiting... Speaking of which there is a fee and wait for the Supressor tax stamp stateside too. We can ship firearms directly to each other across the country without having to go through an FFL etc...
