Looks very good.
What's it weighing in at now?
Not much different, (maybe 3-4 oz?) but the ergonomics are insanely better wih the new stock...

too bad they don't put the whole barrel on those....there must be a few inches on the floor somewhere at Ruger.....

Lucky for you, The King comes in TWO exciting varieties...![]()
Supposedly the marbled finish stands up a lot better than the standard McMillan paint.
Can you send an old stock to McMillan and have it "marbleized"?
If I ever find some black webbing paint again, I'll probably hit it with it.![]()
Did you order the mcswirley form Rick off the campfire?
How much was the stock out of curiosity delivered to BC?
Nice gun I'm sure it would kill an Eland...grin
Gate: Did yours have the Hogue originally? Phil Shoemaker recently wrote about abominations. He couldn't have been more correct. Obviously, you are becoming a shooter of distinction ( except for the fact that 375 H&H is the real King and anything else is a supposer and wannabe).
Cheers.
Last I checked Rick would repaint stocks (any stocks) for $100 or thereabouts. I'm no fan of the McSwirly (there's a real cult of aficionados over at the 'fire) but you're looks pretty decent. I wouldn't screw with it.
