My pre-'64 Model 70 Winchester 270 Win. wasn't new when I bought it in 1969. Through all kinds of weather and a pile of ammo it has never failed to feed, fire or eject. The trigger-pull is superb. The last gun I would ever sell and it will likly go to my grandson.
Excellent! I like the sound of that--My most reliable (and accurate) rifle is just that--A 1948 M70 Winchester 270 Win passed on to me by my grandfather! He bought it new, and transferred it to me when his eyesight finally failed at 93. I call him every time I take it out--it's a great connection between us, and a fantastic rifle to boot!
