indeed no need to marinate a velvet antler caribou, certainly one of the best meat ever.

Here's one from my mountain adventures this year:...
Dang, gorgeous. Where is that?
That is a great picture! Man, we are blessed to live in such a beautiful place.

Meet me on this side of the mountain. It's where we should find the rams:
should is the word ...
I'm so excited to to add to this thread next month, when this thread was started I lived in Nova Scotia and dreamed of hunting the mountains, this thread made me have to move to BC, there was no other options for me lol, now only 3 years later I'm living in BC (for just over a year now) and today I just bought my Sheep and Goat tag for my 10 day Fly in hunt right beside Mt Edziza park this August, Float plane is booked and time is approved off work!!
My 11 year old daughter and I are doing this hunt

Thanks guys, we are both really excited about the trip, I know there are a lot closer spots to hunt and easier spots to find goats but we wanted to wrap as much awesome thing into this trip as we can.
I bet she will remember this for the rest of her life, I can remember the fishing trips my uncles brought me on when I was a kid, I would have loves to do a hunt like this at 11 years old. The trip will be a slower pace then if it was my buddy coming with me, but she loves hiking and camping and has no issues putting 20kms a day behind her when hiking (I carry the gear though)
not trying to sounds ghay about it, but this thread changed the course of my life in a major way. I left my job of 16 years as a manual machinist and moved my wife and 4 kids across Canada to chase my dream of living/ hunting in the mountains.
