The mystery milsurp special tool thread.

Its pretty convenient that 8-track holder holds loose ammunition, who woulda thunk it! ;)

Of course I am being intentionally obtuse, I just can't stand to see Dimitri be the only one answering, and since he has a spotless record for correct answers, I thought I may as well look for alternative uses.

Sten, you have a pretty interesting and unique collectible 'niche'. One I would have never considered covering.

ANOTHER reason why this hobby is so damn enjoyable!!!

I'll stump Dmitri yet.
How about this tool. Its a useful one....I just used it today in fact.

Bingo. Works great on the no4 rifles as well.

I had no idea! :runaway:

You know what I realized ?? :D Sten has ALOT of interesting tools in his place. :D

Also thats a FN/FAL Multi-Functional Tool  Found that out when looking for what the heck was that extractor tool! :dancingbanana:

Dimitri

From that site:
# Perfect for the FN/FAL grip nut.
# Required for installing FAL/L1A1 return spring.
# Required for FAL/L1A1 stock removal/ installation.
# Rod is threaded to accept chamber brushes and cleaning rods.
# Fit FAL para stock blocks.
# Fits CETME stock to receiver bolts.
# All steel, black oxide finish

How many ways can you say "tool to install the stock/return spring nut."
The canadian one did not have the cleaning rod function. We issued cleaning kits or pull throughs for that purpose.

Yah I realized that Sten, just copied the name though trying to beat the clock. :p

Anyways these quizzes were fun I learnt alittle :) I knew NONE of these tools names before this thread! :dancingbanana:

OK, sorry to make mine probably the easiest one on this thread, but I don't have anything of interest for specialty tools. And anything I do have, has already been shown.
