I believe that was the second testicle reference regarding that rifle in this thread.

SC, with branding season only a couple months away, you might want to consider nuts as payment. I am sure a prairie ranch 'nutter will be able to spare a few.:p

Back in another life part of my job was as a technical rep for our propellant powder division. I met a lady who worked for Olin at a weapons convention and listened to her whine in her Chivas about how much easier the lads marketing the guns had it. "All they have to do is put a saddle ring on a 30-30 and they sell 20,000 guns".

I doubt many of the guns sold so far are going to collectors. A clerk at my favourite gunshop said the sales in the two .375's are about even, with more handloaders choosing the Ruger. He seemed to think it was about ammunition availability. I suspect it could also be that handloaders are a bit more cognisant of the cartridges' ballistics.

That said, I don't think we can really say that any cartridge has "arrived" until the other 3 ammunition manufacturers start producing it.

It's just a thread about a very well received new cartridge and the rifles it is chambered in....

If anything, the real trollers are the ones that are trying to tear down the NEW KING.....And failing miserably at it, too!:p
