in some not all ... and in most the .375 is really the mini.


on animals shot there is not differences at all to be true but what the owner beliefs is something else.

if i choose the 375 ruger its not the caliber on is own but the package that ruger made with a short barrel and perfs. if the 375h&h was able to deliver the same maybe but today as a leftie few choices remains for me

if you take a 20" for a 9,3x62 it s not going in the same whatever they said i ve tried it and it s better with 23" at mini.

i ve met some people that are on the h&h bandwagon but if the 375 ruger was appearing earlier or sooner they ll choose another way. this is it this is evolutuion and to each his own but the world is in evolution and we choose to take or not.

dont tell me about marketing because most of us are changing their tvs, their cars but the rifles no, come on ...

Maybe you could explain what track this forum is on? Help me out will ya..

I think when you get older and more mature. You may understand what the "King" of Cartridges really means. It is not one Cartridge it is a series of "proven" cartridges. Let's start from a place you might understand.

Not everyone will agree with this list but maybe people will think there is more than 1 cartridge that deserves the title of the "King". Is the "King" the most versatile Cartridge or the most powerful Cartridge?

Sorry, this thread is about the NEW KING of the .375's, not what may or may not be the Kings of other calibers. I thought that was obvious? It *does* state that in my sigline, and I know you read every single one of my posts, so you should have been aware of what we were talking about here.

If I had of read every single one of your posts. I would have shot myself out of sheer boredom. But hey it's been a long Winter. You just seem to make it longer.

Never said I was bored of you. I just said you were boring. No offence.
 
So the new 250gr .375 caliber TTSX bullets should be arriving soon.

In a piece by John Barsnes, he mentioned that he considers the TSX/TTSX style bullets to penetrate similar to a Nosler Partion that is heavier than the TSX.

Basically his rule of thumb is "80%"

The 300NP has long been highly regarded as an excellent big and dangerous game bullet, so the 250 should do the same job up close, while having a better trajectory for longer shots. While I would still pick a 300gr TSX for hunting something like Cape Buffalo, for North America or African Plains Game, the 250gr TTSX in a .375 Ruger should be a Win/Win.
