Well my post lady came a knocking on the door today with the final piece of my moose masher
. It's a McMillan Ruger Mark II Classic stock with 70% black, 20% Dark gray, 10% light gray. The gun of course is a Ruger 375 Alaskan, topped off with a VX-R 3-9x40 CDS in Warne QWR. Total weight unloaded is 9.1lbs. It's going to be shooting 250gr Barnes TTSX over a charge of H4350. Now all I need is Bullwinkle in the sights and I'll put in a world of hurt on him.
October can't come soon enough.

The gun handles very well now. As for the scope ocular, I haven't personally had any issues as it sits just a little further back as my 35 Whelen with VXIII 2.5-8x36. So far so good I guess. Still have to fine tune everything so I may move it up a little. Here's my 35 Whelen
