The new Tikka T1X Rimfire

Ordered one as well. Better hurry guys I don't see these lasting long!

I won't be ordering one so that leaves one more for someone else. I know the dovetail rings will be more than enough. They are on my other .22's. I'd rather spend the money on good quality ammo.

I wonder if guys buying rails because they believe it will make their scopes immovable as much as possible will be shooting bulk ammo for accuracy with their T1X's? ;)

I'll be one of those guys shooting cheap ammo to 300 yards.

Hey! I resemble that remark... sometimes.

No gophers to speak of around here. If I wanted indifferent accuracy, I would use cheap bulk ammo, a 4X scope, and an inexpensive rifle. I try to shoot targets instead.

That's good. Don't give up. Perseverance will pay off.

Thanks. Get some good ammo and you will be able to shoot them one day, too. :p

I'm obstinate and think that I can shoot some good groups with plain old CCI Standard Velocity. I ordered a case and will put the theory to the test this summer. Once I get back in the groove I will also try some match ammo to see how much different it is.

I will likely install a new barrel down the road.

...and still shoot Bulk Barn ammo out of it? :):nest:

Looks like the barrel can be easily and quickly removed/replaced; there should be plenty of aftermarket specialty barrels available in no time. :)
