What is the diameter at the end of the quarter rib and at the end of the barrel? Hard to get a sense of scale.It looks thick, but having seen some of those Martini falling blocks in person, I know how slight they are.

Good work Angus. I am really digging this project.

In front of the quarter rib it's .735" and at the muzzle it's .545". It'll likely see some flutes rather than making it skinnier, at 27" it's pretty whippey.

Looks like your project is coming along nicely. Did you clean up your mess and tell the wife to move along nothing to see here ?

A banded front sight for that small of a barrel would weigh sweet f all. Make it from steel.

Yessir... was a long go and some tired hands but couldn't bear to look at it in steps. Still an ounce or two there on the sight. I'll probably split the difference and do a simple ramp.

The disturbed side of me enjoys it. Will make me smile when I use it that the contour was ultimately hand filed, I have to bleed on a gun to love it seems like. Nothing is ever safe in my cabinet but the more I've worked on one the safer it is. Unless it really ticked me off while working on it.

I know I would not sell my low wall or T/C encore
Realy like to get my hands on a T/C contender G2 not in the same League as your project
