the official "next M305 shipment arrival" thread

By the way, when did a reasoned explanation become "protesting too much?"

I am glad you posted your explanation. I used to think that people were taking advantage of the M305 shortage by asking high prices. Now I know better.

I think your explenation was helpfull:)

cheers

market value

I hate to say it BUT market value is defined as what one person is willing to pay!!!!

If it sells then it is worth that much... If it does not then well the conclusion is fairly obvious. If there are a few that have sold in that price range then..... they are worth it.

The stock market works like this... for those who seem to understand. If the price is above your ability to pay or desire to own then dont buy. If you want but cannot afford - complain (do it at home with Rye - not here).

If you want it buy it, if you are not going to buy it - then shut up.

I noticed that there are many guns there in the forms that are over priced... I do not care about it and dont say anything.

I wonder why you complain like this? are you angry?

Who's to say Marsatar will keep old pricing on the incoming shipment? We know they are not tking deposits, and I think everyone is aware of fuel surcharges and manufacturing cost changes since the last load was imported. Maybe current market prices are inline?

List.????

So there are 500 rifles coming in eh? and like many of you I intend to purchase one as soon as they arrive( mine will be scoped and will be my deer rifle) The net result will be a massive influx of project rifles.

I somehow expect that the M 305 shortage will soon be followed by a complete inability to buy scope mounts, then a shortage of aftermarket stocks, and a shortage of bulk .308.

It's going to be a race right down to the wire to have the project completed by deer season.

... then a shortage of aftermarket stocks, and a shortage of bulk .308 ....

There's already a dearth of good stocks for the M14, and bulk 7.62 NATo is already pretty scarce, 'specially if you want boxer primed.

i'm prototyping an aluminum/synthetic stock for the m14s/m305 and once the little kinks are worked out and the shop is set up for production, I will be making them availlable here in Canada. I'll give you a hint.... sage type collapsable, pistol grip, fully bedded....... hehehe you guys are gonna love this.

My understanding is that Norinco isn't making any new major parts for the M14S/M305; everything they ship is assembled from NOS. The supply of M14S/M305 receivers will eventually dry up (unless Norinco decides to tool-up again), and at that point, you will see prices start to rise steadily...

Anyone have any idea just how many more rifles Norinco will be able to ship before they run dry?

Lets not create artificial "HYPE"

It is a Norinco M305. Not a springfeild!!!!!!

a Norinco should not cost more than its point of origin.

They work good and are fun - we are all happy & thankful

PS-My plans are to purchase 2 of these when they arrive.

I didn't know the demand was suddenly so high!

I paid $600 shipped for an M305 with SA 3rd Gen scope mount and a USGI fiberglass stock... I'm thinking I got a gooood bargain!

due to legalities of bringing a product to market, I can't show pics or drawings before the stocks are ready. I don't know if I will go the patent route but we shall see. Sorry to get you all excited.... but I estimate 2 months and I will "unveil" a very functional CQB style Canadian made product

HFP75, you're right a 'Rinco isn't a Springfield. The Norinco has a forged receiver, a forged, one-piece op rod, and a forged bolt. And I have yet to hear of one that isn't every bit as accurate as a rack-grade Springfield.

HAY RIDE;
Of course Marstar will keep the prices until further notice....

Marstar NEVER takes deposits from clients for standard stock itmes, never will....

PLINKER:
You don't have all the facts on the M-305, however I can tell you that we have purchased all remaining stocks.

Regards John
