Early Christmas/bday present for me today. Everything came at the same time. Delivery guy dropped off a small box from gunaccessories.com for the rubber butt pad, then went to the truck to get the big box with the M14 plus accessories, and in the mailbox was the letter from the CFC with the registration for the M14.

oh happy days are here again......:)
 
Well, got mine today, in Montreal, also with the cleaning kit, hard case and sling free of charge. Very little cosmoline on this one, cleaning will be quite easy.

I guess that 308 ammo will be hard to find through the country for the following months.

Now, how to get one of those JAE-100 stocks in the country...
 
Picked up mine from the post office today. When I first opened the case, I read the piece of paper that came with it and went "Where's the cleaning kit?" and then I said "DOH!" and opened up the hatch on the rifle butt.

Going by Hungry's indicators, this rifle should be a sweet shooter. It rings when you pull the trigger!

yes they are 5 round magazines.
mine came with 1 5 round,Case,cleaning kit, and sling
but the cleaning kit and sling were a bonus for the shipment taking so long.

I was always thought a magazine stayed on the firearm, a clip detatched (detachable box magazine) and a stripper clip was different alltogether.

Mine showed up yesterday, with the extra mags I ordered and a sling. Wasn't expecting the case, so that was a nice surpise. Took my a while to find the cleaning kit.

I was looking for a paper manual, but that doesn't appear to be included. Is there anyplace on the net to download one? Format doesn't matter. Word, Adobe, etc.

Ya, the stock is a bit of a turd but everything else sure looks nice :) So how do I get into the compartment under the metal butt flap?

Sheesh. Just got off the phone with Mike at Marstar (good bunch of people!) and my package with two M-305's is still sitting there waiting for the transfer docs. It's been at least two weeks, if not three!!! :(

I've been waiting patiently (that's BS ;) ), but this is ridiculous!! The CFO seems to be overwhelmed right now; does this have something to do with the RCMP taking over?

For damn non-restricted rifles! Come on Conservatives, let's get rid of this registry - I know, I know. Patience.

Never mind. A bit of mis-communication between Marstar and myself. Everyone's working as fast as humanly possible! My order has been set aside, but the transfer requests are being done in the order received. So, there are just too many of you folks in front of me! :)

Push in the latch and lift the door open. You might need a small screwdriver to push it in.
