Cool!
WRT the link I posted, did you remove the spaces between the h t t p??? I just checked & the link still works if you remove the spaces.
Cheers

Safer than stealing the old lady's nail polish for colour fills.
Very similar progress on my older 375 H&H. Wanted to use irons aswell as scope so used Warner bases and Leupold QRW rings with a Leupold 2.5-8x36. Very very happy with it. But with this scope it just fits on my action. A lot of the large actions run into clearance issues with the 2.5-8x36 scope becuase of the shorter tube length.
I had the stock refinished and I'll need to take some better photos. The wood grain came out so nice on it.

Well done Jay..... I was shooting anywhere from 2-5" groups over the irons at 100...... 3 shot groups though..... It's a real pussycat to shoot too.....
You're a brave guy.... Last time I took the RSM to the range on a Saturday I got mobbed and it cost me 10 rounds of Privi......
Brad, we should get together and do some shooting. I don't have a Ruger RSM but I could bring a #1 in 7mm mag, 2 Encore's with .375 H&H and .416 Rigby barrels..........would be fun. and I don't reload so real expensive afternoon to boot!!!!
I'd bet she's driving a vehicle that had/has a loan on it, to make her life better..............Also, take her with you (that always helps a lot) so she has the memories to share. Africa is mostly very "wife/family friendly" with sight seeing side trips for her and pampering like she won't see on a lot of holidays. A lot of hunt camps, especially in RSA are as good as any high end resorts anywhere in the world, a little more rustic in some cases but believe me the South Africans know how to live the good life, and how to incorporate into the hunting scene. Africa is my wife's #1 favorite holiday destination and she is neither a shooter nor hunter, but has fallen in love with the weather and life style, even in camp.
I look at it this way...... A family of four could dump that amount of cash easy taking a trip to Disney and have the same memory millions of others have every year...... Or a devout Hunter and his wife could do something really exotic, live amongst and learn about a culture they know little of, enjoy their true passion and have memories that are unique and would last a lifetime..... Who would you rather sit across a campfire from?..... Buddy that did Africa or buddy that rode space mountain?.....
Same as your desire to hunt Argentina....... Both are unique experiences.....
If you cry when opening a rifle, you might be a gun nut! Nice rifle by the way.
haven't tried the Rigby yet but the first shot in the encore with the H&H gave me a nice scope eye with blood running down my nose........... LOLLoved every minute of it.........
