do you even see your mistake?
Point it out genius.

You somehow have mistakenly thought I give a f**k about what you think, say or do...
maybe he meant the objective flip-up cover on the eye piece...![]()
Lets see how many people it takes to figure out why that is the way it is.![]()
or,...feel free to skip this thread and start one...
Why would I do that?
Ok Chuck, I'll bite, why two objective caps?
Here's my question..
Is that the same cap as is posted in your original pic...I mean the exact same cap on the ocular, no changes, as in your first pic on pg 6 of this thread?
and do tell more about the inability to use an ocular cap (I assume due to your south paw) but you don't have any issue with the front objective cap?
which hand are you using to relase the objective?

They say a picture is worth a thousand words. Obviously it isn't enough. No that is not the same cap that is in the original picture. With a left handed bolt with a 90 degree lift it is impossible to have the bolt clear the standard B&C ocular cap because of the release button unless tilted or indexed differently as demonstrated in the above picture. I therefore use an objective cap in it's place cut off the onside tab and use the back of my thumb to open the cap with the other tab.
why not use Polar caps
