The Shooting Edge - Monday Nights

We set up a few courses of fire and practise shooting them. You have to be black badge certified to participate. Cost is $5 if you are a TSE member.

Are you sure about the black badge being a requirement or is it simply any holster course? I could have sworn the BB itself was not a requirement. At the very least I have seen non-IPSC members participate before so if it IS a requirement it certainly hasn't been enforced in the past.

Does the Wednesday night thing start at 7:00 as well? I've been meaning to get my Black Badge, might have to show up and see what all the fuss is about.

Generally. The BB is an IPSC requirement only. DPL will accept a BB or in-house or equivilant holster course/certification to allow drawing from a holster. Come out and try it on.

Most of the pistol shooting sports in Canada recognize the Black Badge course as it is very safety oriented.

With Frank running the COF, I think he'd want BB certified people.

in Alberta you must shoot one match succesfully to get your Black Badge. In BC it is two. i don't think Saskatchewan has any requirement.

In Alberta we include your first match free so that you can complete your Black Badge.
