What would be a fair (current) price for a used but low round count sl8-4 or sl8-5?

I tried looking online but I'm not seeing any new or used SL8's listed in the EE or with Reliable, Wanstalls, etc.

G36K handguard is not too hard to find. RKS plus or put an ad in the EE.
G36C barrel, piston and piston rod are nearly impossible to find.
G36K barrel can be found, but are not readily available. The piston can be found at RKS plus. The piston rod can be made from an SL8/G36 piston rod.

Yes, a longer barrel can be installed, if you have the proper tools, piston, rod, spring, etc.
HK does not make a barrel longer then 20" for the SL8 or G36 series of rifles. You would need to get a gunsmith to make you a custom barrel.
 
It came a day after Boxing Day, but still a nice Christmas present. Momma somehow swung finding me a Spuhr Magwell and Extended Bolt Release. Is it possible to be on the good and naughty lists at the same time:)

I received an email (as did some others here) from SPUHR today informing me that the magwell conversion is now available through SPUHR directly. You can contact their sales dept. at ulf@spuhr.com

The conversion from $SEK to $CAD is about $330 CAD for the magwell and $20 CAD for shipping.

Are there any options for a skeleton stock that will fit on the H.E.R.A. BCK?
I've got the bushmaster ACR, but something closer to the G36 look would be nice.

The wife snapped a pic while I was taking some measurements for another nut. Top is 10/22 based, bottom is SL8-5 based...



A second with some amber mags... brings it just ever so slightly back to the G36 mag look (I bought 6 of these for the price of a single OEM HK mag:bangHead:
