The Stag 10s NR stripped receiver set thread

All these people getting order numbers is making me sad lol. I'll be going on 10 days tomorrow. I've never had another store take so long to ship.

I was antsy too but kept reminding myself that at checkout there was a "do you accept the terms and conditions" box I had to check to proceed. Terms and conditions stated I should allow 4 to 6 weeks for delivery..... acceptable to me so I purchased. Looks like they are keeping thier word to me and delivering within the stated conditons of sale.
If it matters, I only ordered one receiver set and nothing else. Was gonna get two but figured I'd wait to see what other calibers the rifles come out in later down the road.

FYI, both Magpul P-Mags and XCR-M 10rd pistol mags fit the magwell with very minimal wiggle (almost non-existent) and they both have no problem dropping free.

Also if anyone is thinking of getting the ALG ACT trigger as an "upgrade" I would highly suggest you save yourself the hundred bucks and give the factory trigger the benefit of the doubt first. As I said before it is very smooth for a mil-spec trigger. The only reason I'd recommend replacing the factory trigger is if you decide you want a lighter pull weight.

I plan to put in an ssa e and then maybe reuse this trigger if it's as good as people are saying

Trigger breaks nice and clean.
It’s a bit heavy though, maybe around 5 lbs
Suitable for hunting and banging off rounds but if your planning on any kind of target shooting, it’s gonna feel like an eternity ,before it breaks.

I wouldn't call it a good trigger, as in Geissele Timney or Trigger Tech good, but it is definitely useable and is every bit as good as the ACT which is a popular budget alternative to the gritty mil-spec trigger.

It will be perfectly fine, like Brian said, for a hunting rifle or a blaster but won't make for a good precision trigger. Although it is smooth, it is heavy and still has some creep.

I have an elftmann. Now that's a nice trigger no creep and no over travel and a very positive reset. The bcl I bought came with an alg. It was all creep and heavy but it could probably be cleaned up a little with some stoning.
